Abstract

This article aims to identify possible violations of the principle of the best interests of children and adolescents in social security legislation and INSS regulations. The method used was the bibliographic research, and the results found corroborate the idea that the social security legislation and INSS regulations are progressively distancing themselves from the necessary support for children and adolescents, which provides a situation of social and financial vulnerability harmful to dependent minors of insured persons of the general social security system.

Rosmeri de Almeida, Prefeitura municipal de Caxias do Sul

Graduação em Direito pela Universidade de Caxias do Sul. Na área jurídica, possui especializações em Direito Processual Civil, em Direito Médico e está concluindo LLM em Direito Empresarial. Atualmente está cursando as seguintes especializações: Direito Previdenciário RGPS e Direito Previdenciário RPPS. Tem experiência na área de Enfermagem, com ênfase em Terapia Intensiva, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: pediatria, terapia intensiva pediátrica e neonatal, ensino, administração hospitalar/ auditoria de serviços de saúde pública e atendimento pré hospitalar. Atua como advogada em questões previdenciárias, de direito médico e cíveis.
